a bottom-up crisis

I’ve been reading Time for decades now. Joe Klein has been a fixture in the publication for longer than I have been reading.

For much of the past I have ignored him as he seemed to rail against liberals, but in the current issue his usual admonishment seems correct. Time and I invite you to read the column.

It is time for an examination of conscience, to break the indolence of a child like condition induced by age or an entitlement demanded by love or the necessity of war based on security and justified by envy.

“Everything is fixed and you can’t change it.”
