unjust judge Let YOUR <heart> be broken,

Joel 2:11 Shaddai ‘Elyon’ makes His voice heard at the head of His army, and indeed His regiments are innumerable, all-powerful is the one that carries out His orders, for great is the day of Shaddai ‘Elyon’, and very terrible–who can face it? 12 ‘ But now, now–it is Shaddai ‘Elyon’ who speaks–come back to Me with all your heart, fasting, weeping, mourning.’ 13 Let your hearts be broken, not you garments torn, turn to Shaddai ‘Elyon’ your God again, for He is all tenderness and compasion, slow to anger, rich in gracioiusness, and ready to relent. 14 Who knows if He will not turn again, will not relent, will not leave a blessing as He passes, oblation and libation for Shaddai ‘Elyon’ your God?

Joel 2:18 Then Shaddai ‘Elyon’, jealous on behalf of his lord, took pity on his people. 19 Shaddai ‘Elyon’ spoke in answer to his people, ‘Now I send you corn and wine and oil, until you have enough. Never again shall I make you a thing of shame for the nations. 20 I will drive the invader from the north far away from you and drive him into an arid, desolate land, his vanguard to the eastern sea, his rearguard to the western sea. He will give off a stench, give off a foul stink.’ (For he has done great things.)

Lit. ‘the northerner’. The army of locusts is here compared with the enemy which, in the prophetic literature, always ‘comes from the North’ to execute the judgements of God, cf. Jr 1:13-15+; Ezk 26:7, etc.

John 15:24 If I had not performed such works among them as no one else has ever done, they would be blameless; but as it is, they have seen all this, and still they hate both Me and my Father. 25 But all this was only to fulfill the words written in their Law: They hated Me for no reason. 26 When the Advocate comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who issues from the Father, He will be my witness. 27 And you too will be witnesses, because you have been with me from the outset.

Mark 5:24 Jesus went with him and a large crowd followed Him; they were pressing all round Him. 25 Now there was a woman who had suffered from a haemorrhage for twelve years; 26 after long and psinful treatment under various doctors, she had spent all she had without being any the better for it, in fact, she was getting worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus, and she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His cloak. 28 ‘If I can touch even His clothes,’ she had told herself ‘I shall be well again.’ 29 And the source of the bleeding dried up instantly, and she felt in herself that she was cured of her complaint. 30 Immediately aware that power had gone out from Him, Jesus turned round in the crowd and said, ‘Who touched my clothes?’ 31 His disciples said to Him, ‘You see how the crowd is pressing round You and yet You say, “Who touched Me?” ’ 32 But He continued to look all round to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman came forward, frightened and trembling because she knew what had happened to her, and she fell at His feet and told Him the whole truth. 34 ‘My daughter,’ He said ‘your faith has restored you to health; go in peace and be free from your complaint.’

Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith’. 6 The Lord replied, ‘Were your faith the size of a mustard seed you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea”, and //`it;,/?,/ would obey you.

Luke 18:6 And the Lord said, ‘You notice what the UNJUST JUDGE has to say? 7 Now will not God see justice done to His chosen who cry to Him day and night even when He delays to help them? 8 I promise you, He will see justice done to them, and done SPEEDILY. But when the Son of Man comes, will He find any faith on earth?’

Matthew 5:20 ‘For I tell you, if your virtue goes no deeper than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.
